We would like to welcome you aboard our F/V Far Horizon. It is a 42 ft. sport fish fully equipped with all the latest high tech electronics and safety equipment. The cabin is heated and air conditioned with a full galley, dinette, refrigerator and stand up head (restroom). The boat is well-appointed, very clean and comfortable with a roomy cockpit.
Far Horizon Charters, Inc. has been serving the Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Orlando communities since 1988. Hundreds of visitors and locals have experienced what the West Coast and Tampa Bay area has to offer. Our coast is the grouper capital of the world. Come and join us in a reel fishing adventure.
 Captain Mike is licensed thru the U.S. Coast Guard and has fished and chartered the Atlantic Coast for 15 years. After moving to Florida in 1991, he continued to fish commercially and for recreation until 1998. In 1998 he took his seat at the helm once again as Captain of this private sportfish, doing what he does best. Today, Far Horizon is known as the most professional and productive charter boat on the West Coast.
Accompanying Captain Mike on every trip is a First Mate. The crew is very friendly and always willing to accommodate you. They take care of all of your fishing needs and show you the different fishing techniques so everyone will know what to expect. It does not matter if you have never fished before. Captain Mike will put you on the fish. All you need to do is reel them in. That is your JOB. If you should lose battle, we know you will be back... If you have fished with the rest, now come fish with the BEST. No fish stories here. As long as the weather is favorable, we will pull out all the stops. We want you to get onboard, unwind, and relax. Our Ofice is absolute BEAUTIFUL. Mother Nature has so much to offer. We look forward to meeting you!
